What is eyelid surgery?

Eyelid surgery is a process to improve the appearance of the eyelids.

Surgery can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids or both.

If you are experiencing functional problems with your eyelids, eyelid surgery can kick-start the area surrounding your eyes.

What eyelid surgery can diagnose

Skin which bring folds or interrupts the natural outline of the upper eyelid, sometimes impairing vision.

Hanging lower eyelids that reveal white below the iris.

Over skin and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid.

.If you're having all eyelids to be operated. It takes almost two hours to operate both them. Your doctor will use anesthesia with oral sedation. The surgeon will work on the upper lids first. The surgeon will usually cut along the natural lines of your eyelids. Through these cuts, your surgeon will divide the skin from the underlying tissue and eliminate the excess skin. Next, the surgeon will stitch those cuts. These stitches will stay for three to six days.
