What is Hysterectomy?

Hysterectomy Hysterectomy is a surgical operation to remove all or part of the uterus. It also involve in removal of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix and also other surrounding structures in the body. Generally it is performed by a gynecologist, hysterectomy surgery may be total or partial. This effect is not limited to premenopausal women; even women who have already entered menopause were shown to have experienced a decrease in long-term survivability post-oophorectomy.
