What is Fetal Surgery?

Fetal surgery Fetal surgery includes a broad extent of surgical techniques which are utilized as a part of treatment to birth deficiencies in fetuses who are still in the pregnant uterus.There are three major sorts: open fetal surgery, which includes complete opening of the uterus in order to perform on the fetus; nominal invasive fetoscopic surgery, this surgery involves usage of small incisions which is guided by sonography and fetoscopy; and the third one is percutaneous fetal therapy, this therapy includes a placement of catheter under the regular ultrasound guidance.
