Dr. Dr. Sayantani Mukherjee

Dr. Sayantani Mukherjee is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 16 years of experience treating addiction and mental health conditions across all age groups. Trained at some of Mumbai’s most respected institutions — Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, and Nair Hospital — she brings both deep clinical expertise and a genuinely human approach to her work.

Her particular strength lies in treating what sits beneath addiction. Much of substance dependency is rooted in untreated depression, anxiety, or trauma, and Dr. Mukherjee’s dual-diagnosis approach addresses both at once — the addiction and the cause. A former Assistant Professor with years of teaching and a substantial body of published research, she combines academic rigour with real warmth at the bedside.
