Dr. Dr. Ranjita Pawar

Dr. Ranjita Pawar is a psychologist, researcher, and Director of ZorbaCare with over a decade of experience in addiction recovery, family therapy, and adolescent mental health. Holding a PhD in Psychology from Himalayan University, her doctoral research focused on adolescents’ internet addiction and its relationship with parenting, emotion regulation, and behavioural traits — a subject she has studied, published on, and presented at international conferences in Dubai and Thailand.

What sets her work apart is the intersection of clinical depth and family systems thinking. She works with families — not just individuals — understanding that addiction rarely exists in isolation, and that lasting recovery almost always involves the people closest to the person struggling. Her approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and grounded in a genuine belief that awareness is where addiction ends and recovery begins.
