Dr. Prashant kadam

Dr. Prashant Kadam is a distinguished Liver Transplant and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgeon, widely regarded as one of the best liver transplant Surgeon in India. Currently serving as Senior Consultant at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Girgaon, Mumbai, he brings over 16 years of comprehensive surgical expertise spanning complex liver resections, living and deceased donor transplants, ABO-incompatible transplantation, and paediatric liver transplantation.


Trained at premier institutions in both India and the United Kingdom, Dr. Kadam completed advanced HPB and Liver Transplant training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, earning his MRCS and FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and his M.Ch. in Surgical Oncology from Edge Hill University, Liverpool.


He is a pioneer in robotic liver surgery and holds advanced expertise in Donation after Circulatory Death (DCD) organ retrieval and machine perfusion techniques.
