Micro Ear Surgery If any surgery performs on tiny structures like blood vessels and nerves, with specific instruments under a microscope is known as “micro ear surgery”. This replantation of a rabbit's ear was noteworthy because tiny blood vessels which are of 0.04 in (0.1 cm)—close in size to the blood vessels found in a human hand—were successfully done. After two years from then, replantation of a toe to the hand of a monkey was made achievable using microsurgical methods. From then microsurgery is being performed. Microsurgical methods are utilized by plastic surgeons to reconstruct damaged or spoiled skin, muscles, or other tissues, or to transplant tissues from parts of the body.
